Synopsis

The Adventures of Tintin, the title for the series of comic books on the reporter Tintin, signed by the Belgian artist Hergé.

Tintin began as a comic strip in Le Petit XXième, the youth department of the Catholic newspaper Le Siècle XXième with the story of Tintin in the Soviet Union. As a Catholic newspaper, the Siècle strongly opposed to communism, and the parody of the Soviets must be seen in that light (as late as a Russian communist to western communists see how well the plants do not run at closer inspection, the smoke from the stacks of hay to be incinerated).

Sometimes there claimed that the Belgian Fascist leader Leon Degrelle (then just journalist) model for Tintin, Hergé has always strongly denied. Hergé Tintin claimed that his own brother would be based. The boy with the dog was not an original discovery. Re-transferred the duo almost verbatim from his very first balloon trip in December 1928 he for the Belgian satirical weekly Le Sifflet made. The unnamed boy there, he made a boy, the white fox-terrier, he did nothing to change.
