Synopsis

In 1957, Indiana Jones, aged 58, is still teaching in archeology. It is confronted with the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Professor Irina Spalko the catch with his friend “Mac” and entering a U.S. military base, containing an ancient relic. The secret military warehouse in question is none other than the Hangar 51 from the end of Adventurers of the Lost Ark. He escaped, returns to Marshall College. It is nevertheless forced to resign because of this recent event in the context of maccarthisme (hunt for red). A young biker Mutt Williams found while preparing to leave.

A letter from his mother Marion Ravenwood, who has known the teacher in the episode of the Lost Ark, asks him to find that Indiana is the only one who can save her and his old friend Professor Oxley. Indeed, it has embarked on an archaeological study on the conquistador Francisco de Orellana and the city of Eldorado. In exchange for his help, Mutt is ready to entrust plans Oxley which locates the crystal skull. Indy remark that they are tracked by the Red Army. The letter was a decoy to catch Indy. After a leak on a bike, Indy manages to decipher the notes of his colleague and the two heroes leave for Peru to unravel the riddle to find Oxley and Marion. For the Soviets, the skulls are a source of inestimable power, they are more than ever in the footsteps of our two adventurers.
