Synopsis

the_deal_poster The deal is an American-Canadian film comedy from the year 2008. Directed by Steven Schachter, who together with William H. Macy the screenplay based on a novel by Peter Lefcourt said.

The film producer Charlie Berns thinks of suicide. He promises his nephew, from a screenplay written this biography of Benjamin Disraeli to filming. Berns writes in the studio with a contract for 100 million U.S. dollars of production, without the script to read.

It is announced that a famous action star, an African-American, the main role should take on. Without participation the same as a draft horse Berns could not finance the production. Berns is working with Deidre Hearn, who sees through him, but admits the chances of the project. The main character is abducted, what Berns Hearn and the actors are looking for.
