Synopsis

thewaterboyThe water bearer in Quebec (The Waterboy) is a comedy by Frank Coraci, released in 1998.

History happens in a town in Louisiana. Robert Boucher (Adam Sandler) is a man of almost 32 years and wants to hold water ( “Waterboy”, ie use the water to the players) in a team of American football. Brooded by his mother, Bobby can not take responsibility and decide when it proposes to play in this football team in secret. It is the best tackle of his team.

He then meets an old knowledge to him, when the fate of its frequent matches, Vicky Vallencourt (Fairuza Balk) who falls in love with him. Having enough of the claims of his mother, he decides to rebel, but it simulates a disease. Upon awakening she had a discussion with his son and finally opened his eyes: his son should play “flusball” (so she calls football). He won the football final and married Vicky.
