But a race of extraterrestrial creatures composed of pure energy, the Drej, regard it as a threat to their supremacy, and in response, attack and destroy the Earth, leaving only a handful of people condemned to wander the cosmos .

Cale Tucker, a young boy, son of the proponent Titan, is separated from his father during the exodus, and grew up on Tau-14, a colony of miserable scrap. 15 years later, he became an embittered young adult, and hâbleur permanent rebellion against authority. During a brawl with two local raw, Cale was rescued by Joseph Korso, a former soldier who once worked alongside her father, the latter having fled on board the ship Titan during the attack on Earth, Korso mission is to trace him, because this space is perhaps the ultimate hope of a decadent humanity …

After a moment of hesitation, Cale finally agreed to join him, and joined his motley crew, comprised of PREEDS, the devious and beautiful Akrénnien speaker, Stith, the weapons expert Mantrine impetuous but loyal Gune ’s astrogateur blunderer and whimsical, and Akima, a lovely and intrepid pilot …
