Synopsis

titanic_poster Atlantic Ocean: the explorer Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) is looking for a valuable diamond, the Heart of the jewel of Louis XVI, which are considered sunk with the transatlantic Titanic. During his research team found a portrait of a woman in the neck with the precious jewel is Rose DeWitt Bukater (Gloria Stuart), a lady-old that tells of his trip on board the largest of the transatlantic world. So you return to 10 April 1912, when the Titanic set sail from Southampton (England) for its inaugural voyage to New York. The young Rose (Kate Winslet) is an unfortunate girl at aristocrat who travels first class with the despotic mother Ruth DeWitt Bukater (Frances Fisher) and her boyfriend (who has been imposed) Caledon Hockley (Billy Zane). In a moment of crisis Rose attempts suicide, but when is about to throw himself from the stern of the ship is taken to safety by Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a young artist, globetrotter who travels in third class with the winning tickets to a game of poker. The initial complicity between the two reaches a result in a clandestine relationship. Their story, however, and opposed by her official boyfriend, was overtaken by the largest naval civilian tragedy of all time: the sinking of the Titanic.

At the end of the film we see Rose, elderly, secretly throw nottempo in the Heart of the sea, thinking of Jack. Meanwhile you can see photos of the Rose in which she rides like a man and behind the roller coaster, as he had promised to do with Jack. In the final scene, Rose is dreaming of being back inside the ship, along the corridor and surrounded by all the passengers who died. On the scale awaits Jack, who takes her hand and kisses.
