Synopsis

whenharrymetsallyposterHarry Burns and Sally Albright have completed their studies at the University of Chicago and have to go to New York to enter the workforce. They all drives, but the conversation quickly became confrontational, because Harry’s credo is “it can not be a friendly relationship between a man and a woman because sex always point the tip of his nose and that Sally refuses to admit it. Strong antagonism settles … Arrived, they split each other again without thinking, living their lives on their own.

Five years after their arrival in New York, they meet by chance at the airport, taking the same plane, without any further action that an exchange of information on their respective situations: Sally is betrothed Joe worked in journalism and Harry, who is a consultant in politics, will marry Helen. The discussion is no less confrontational than their first meeting.

Five years passed before another meeting in a bookshop. They are single and their respective solitudes will bring, against all logic, to develop friendly relations footprint of complicity. They appear to one another their respective best friends, Marie and Jess, who rush to finish the night together, leaving Harry and Sally on their side.

In a huge coup for cockroach Sally, they sleep together and want them immediately. Their friendship seems to be destroyed and a new sulks separates before the reunion and a final declaration of sentiments Harry Sally completes the final link.
