Ring Ring is the name of the debut album by Swedish pop group ABBA. The recordings lasted from March 1972 to March 1973. The eponymous song ring ring, the group finished 1973 with the “melody festivals,” the Swedish preliminary decisions for the euro vision song contest, third place.

Agnetha Faltskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus were on 29 March 1972 recorded her first song as a group, People Need Love, which was published in June as a single rose to number 3 on the Swedish Tio-i-Topp charts. In autumn, the Group decided therefore to include an album together. The Songs I Am Just a Girl and rock and roll band started in September 1972 as the first of the sessions. This was followed by He Is Your Brother in October, the one radio hit, was successful but could not single place in the charts. In November, Nina, Pretty Ballerina and recorded in December Another Town, Another Train, its revisions, however, lasted until early 1973.

In January 1973, finally accepted the namesake for the album Song Ring ring Me and Bobby and Bobby’s Brother. After a break in February, the track list with the two songs Disillusion, one written by Agnetha Faltskog piece, and was Love Is not Easy (But It Sure Is Hard Enough) completed in March. On 26 March 1973 and released the album eventually. Also on the list was the title song “I Saw It in the Mirror, a 1970 song recorded with the women as background singers. People Need Love, too, was included on the LP.

In Sweden, was placed in the first place, the Swedish version of Ring Ring, while the English version was to be found on the back. In England and the USA, the Swedish version has been replaced by She’s My Kind of Girl, a previous single of Andersson and Ulvaeus. At the time specified on the cover instead of the later band called ABBA the somewhat long-winded name “Benny & Björn Agnetha Frida.”
