Nine Lives is the 12th album of Aerosmith, released in 1997 in Columbia. We know that since the reformation of the group 86, the recording sessions are rather rough (see the video “The making of Pump” in 90), Nine Lives, but very nearly the album of the final separation of Aerosmith .

The accusations made by the manager Tim Collins (somewhat bitter to be thanked after all efforts to bring the group back on track) against Steven Tyler, who was suspected to have plunged into its old demons, having almost cause the departure of the latter, following a letter addressed by the other members of the group, the sum coming be justified. This will tell the singer, after all the hardships suffered by the quintet from Boston, in 1996 remains one of the worst years of his career.
