Permanent Vacation is the 9th album of Aerosmith, released in 1987 with Geffen. Leaving aside the interesting Done With Mirrors in 1985, Permanent Vacation, which will be unfairly characterized as reformation album Aerosmith. On the one hand because it is composed of a bunch of boxes imparables ( “Angel,” “Rag Doll,” “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)”) widely disseminated in radio, but also supported (thanks to MTV) by the recent technique of video clip, in which humor and good humor found in the group contrasts sharply with the seriousness shown by their competitors at the time.

The album won the 11th place and the Billboard charts of the 38th English, the album was also five times platinum, having sold over 10 million copies and greatly exceeding the 1 million Done With mirrors the previous album.
