Into The Unknown is the second studio album by Bad Religion. Unlike the previous album is the style of hardcore punk switched to progressive rock. The band did not know what the public would find, hence the title: Into the Unknown (translated: to the unknown). Ultimately, there are fewer than 10,000 sold, it’s become a major flop compared with the previous album.

On this flop followed by the Back to the Known EP, where they switched to punk-rock, where they are still in play.

The album is the third best punk album of the year chosen by Sputnik Music. It has a very low score, and therefore finite as a third of the three. The All Music Guide, however, rated the album with a high 4.5 out of 5 possible stars.
