Stranger Than Fiction is one of the most successful album of Bad Religion, album and first published August 30 1994 by a major (the Atlantic Records) and no longer with Epitaph Records.

However, the output of this work is marked by an event that will affect production of the next band: Brett Gurewitz, shortly after the exit of the disc, leaving the Bad Religion, officially in order to devote more time to his independent label, Epitaph Records, the After the unexpected success of The Offspring. In fact, many voices that betray the creative duo Gurewitz-Graffin has split because of disagreements between the two, both born to the drug problems of the first, both for the prosecution time Gurewitz from the rest of the band for having “sold” the major.

The album presents no particular novelty compared to previous year, with the usual melodies over tight rhythms, but in addition to songs “typical” of Bad Religion (Incomplete, Better Off Dead, Tiny Voices), there is room for more songs devil and cheerful (Stranger Than Fiction, Hooray For Me ..) and even a ballad, Slumber.
