Flash Gordon is an album released on 8 December 1980 (curiously, the same day that the murder was part of the former Beatles John Lennon) of the British rock band Queen. It is the soundtrack of the film Flash Gordon science fiction, inspired by the comic.

The album is entirely made up of instrumental tracks, except for Flash and The Hero’s Theme. The latter song was the only single dall’album extract, with the simple title, and Flash in a version different from that which appears on the album, with some dialogue excerpts from various parts of the film.
