News Of The World is the sixth album of British rock band Queen, first published in LP October 28 1977.

The album, which contains some of the most famous hits of the band, as We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions and Spread Your Wings, it was hard four times platinum in the U.S., and is considered among the best album of the Queen. It was recorded at Studio West and Wessex Sarma, Great Britain.

The album cover is the work of American fiction illustrations Frank Kelly Freas. Taylor had the October 1953 issue of the magazine “Analog”, whose cover portrayed a huge robot with intelligent hand in a dead body. The artwork that inspired the band Freas asked to illustrate the cover of their album, the artist agreed to redesign the cover of the magazine, replacing the man who died with four members of the band.
