Let It Be was the last album LP released by the Beatles as a group, even though it was recorded prior to Abbey Road. Published in the United Kingdom, was released on May 8, 1970.

This is a controversial album from conception: once they stopped playing live in 1966 by the inability to translate their music on stage, the Beatles set out to record an album to play one last live concert, perhaps in a vessel or a public place. Therefore, the recording sessions for the album (which was then called Get Back, referring to the return to roots rock and rollers of the group) began to be filmed in 1969 by director Michael Lindsay-Hogg. The trials were tense, with constant discussion among group members, since his previous albums denoted coexistence increasingly worse and more hostile to each other.

In 2003, Rolling Stone put it in the post 86 in its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
