With the Beatles was the second British album of the Beatles, recorded four months after the publication of Please Please Me, and released on November 22, 1963 in mono (PMC 1206) and stereo (PCS 3045) on the Parlophone label.

It featured eight original compositions (including the first of George Harrison) and six versions, most of the Motown and R & B. The LP had a pre-order a half million copies sold another half million by September 1965, making it the second album that sold a million copies in the United Kingdom, the first to achieve this was the original soundtrack of the film South Pacific (1958). He remained at the top of the list for 21 weeks, displacing Please Please Me, so that the Beatles held the top spot for 51 consecutive weeks between the two albums. Even had reached No. 11 on the singles chart (at that time, the lists of the United Kingdom had all recordings sold, regardless of the format they had).

In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked The Beatles With the post 420 in their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
