Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can not We? is the Cranberries first album released in 1993. The album has sold 7.6 million copies worldwide. 3.2 million copies were sold in the United States in April 2007. This is one of the only album to be out of the British charts, and then to be back to the first place.

The words are all Dolores O’Riordan, the music is by Noel Hogan and Dolores O’Riordan, except for tracks 5, 10 and 11 that are written by Dolores O’Riordan only. Dreams was played by Faye Wong in Cantonese in 1994 his album Random Thoughts and later in Mandarin Sky. The Cantonese version was used in the film Chungking Express Wong Kar-wai.
