Beggars Benquet is a legendary album of the English Rockband The Rolling Stones, from 1968. It contains Sympathy for the Devil, one of the Stones numbers. This song often ends high on ever-charts.

After long sessions for the album last album, decided to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards that something new was added to the Stones. Jimmy Miller produced and played some songs on the album.

In early 1968 Brian Jones had already indicated that if there was no room for experimental music on the new Stones album he would stop. He plays on almost every issue of Beggars Banquet them but only one he plays guitar, the slidegitaar to No Expectations. Furthermore, Jones played on this album the harmonica, sitar, tambura, mellotron and backing vocals. When Brian heard the final images he had gemeerkt of their experimental contributions sometimes just barely be heard at the end. This must be the reason that he for the Let it Bleed sessions did not show. The release of this album was scheduled for the summer of 1968, but because Mick Jagger and the Decca Records could not agree on what the album cover should have appeared only in December of 1968. Not too long after the release of this album (spring 1969) was Brian Jones officially dismissed.
