The Rolling Stones No. 2 is a music of the British rock band The Rolling Stones, issued in January 1965 as the group’s second LP for the UK market. The group had curiously issued its second album in the U.S., 12X5, before the album was released in their home country.

Of the twelve songs on the album was three, “What a Shame,” “grown Up Wrong” and “Off the Hook” written by the Stones (Keith Richards and Mick Jagger) themselves, but their strength was still in their cover versions of R & B -hits. Their cover of Solomon Burke “Everybody Needs Somebody to love” is here a little over 5 minutes long and thus one of the longest songs in popular music from that period.

The album became a big hit in the UK where it was at first place in ten weeks.
