Make Believe is the fifth album of Weezer, was released on May 10, 2005, the 11th anniversary of the launch of The Blue Album. The first single, “Beverly Hills,” hit the charts immediately and became the single most successful in the rankings.

The album became quickly the most successful band in the rankings, reaching No. 11 in the UK and No. 2 in the United States. It became a gold disc and eventually platinum. Beverly Hills Weezer also helped to get his first nomination to the Grammy Awards in the category Best Rock Song (Best Rock Song). In March 2006, Make Believe had sold 1,103,757 copies in the United States.
